Deep Tissue Massage is a course designed to increase your practical skills in order to deal with many common musculoskeletal problems including back ache; sciatica: shoulder & neck prolems etc. It will improve the effectiveness of your treatment and provide a useful stepping stone from Holistic and swedish massage towards the deeper techniques used in Sports and remedial massage.

Course Content:
- Deep tissue techniques for Back, buttocks, neck
- Buttock massage to improve the treatment of lower back problems
- Hip disorders
- Muscle pressure application - elbows, thumbs
- Shoulder manipulations, rotator cuff injuries
- Deep massage work to release tension and break down lactic acid crystals
- Muscle stripping
- Introduction to Neuro Muscular Techniques NMT
- Introduction to Muscle Energy Technique MET
- Physiology and symptoms of common back problems
- Introduction to deeper neck work
- Learn to treat Piriformis syndrome, Sciatica, etc
- Places will be limited to 12 so please book early
- Bring 2 bath sheet size towels
- Wear Uniform
- Bring a copy of your Massage Certificate and insurance
- Bring pad and pen
- Antibacterial wash
