Acceptance
Following completion of the application process, the applicant will be notified of the booking decision by Email. Devon Academy reserves the right to refuse any booking without explanation.
Course Payments/Deposits
Fees and deposits may be paid by:
cheque made payable to Devon Academy
cash
debit / switch card are free with no charges
credit cards (subject to 2.75% administration fee)
In special circumstances fees may also be paid in three monthly installments, subject to prior arrangement plus an administration charge of £30
Cancellation Policy
Course fees and deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable unless eight weeks notice of cancellation is given in writing, when an administration fee of £50 will be deducted.
If a student be unable to attend classes or a course for personal reasons or is withdrawn due to poor attendance, or failure to deliver ourse work/ case studies by the required deadlines, then there is no obligation on the Academy to reimburse any fee or transfer to a later course.
All courses are subject to minimum number of students booked prior to commencement. In the event that there are insufficient numbers to run the course students will be notified as soon as possible and offered a place on the next course.
Although Devon Academy will endeavour to give notice of increased charges, we have no control over ITEC charges and therefore students are warned that course and examination fees may be subject to change without warning.

A selection of coffees and teas are available at a nominal fee. Please bring a packed lunch or there are a selection of shops and cafes available to purchase lunch close by.
Car Parking
Car parks are available at the municipal car park behind "Marks and Spencers" although this is very expensive , There are long stay car parks at Fairview, Pilton Causeway an the Leisure Centre which are much cheaper. Please follow sign posts when you enter the town. See Car Park Map
Timetable
Course days all start at 8.45am each day and finish at between 5.30 - 6.00pm however specific course will be confirmed prior to each course.
Examination dates
Examinations are usually held on the Sunday and Monday at the end of the last module, however this is not guaranteed and is subject to ITEC confirmation six weeks prior to examination date. The Theory exams tend to be on the Sunday with the practical on the Monday.
