Acceptance

Following completion of the application process, the applicant will be notified of the booking decision by Email. Devon Academy reserves the right to refuse any booking without explanation.

Course Payments/Deposits

Fees and deposits may be paid by:

• cheque made payable to Devon Academy
• cash
• debit / switch card are free with no charges
• credit cards (subject to 2.75% administration fee)

In special circumstances fees may also be paid in three monthly installments, subject to prior arrangement plus an administration charge of £25

Cancellation Policy

Course fees and deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable unless twelve weeks notice of cancellation is given in writing. Should a student be unable to attend a class or course for personal reasons or the college withdraw a student for lack of attendance, or failure to deliver course work by required deadlines they will have no claim to a reimbursement of the course fee or transfer to a later course. In such circumstances a student will be liable for full course fees. Exceptions may be made on production of a medical certificate.

All courses are subject to minimum number of students booked prior to commencement. In the event that there are insufficient numbers to run the course students will be notified as soon as possible and offered a place on the next course.

Although Devon Academy will endeavour to give notice of increased charges, we have no control over ITEC charges and therefore students are warned that course and examination fees may be subject to change without warning.

Refreshments

A selection of coffees and teas are available at a nominal fee. Please bring a packed lunch or their are a selection of shops and cafes available to purchase lunch close by.

Car Parking

Is available at the municipal car park behind Marks and Spencers, please note that you can park on single yellow lines on Sundays to avoid parking fees. There are long stay car parks at the Leisure Centre and off Yeo Vale Road

Timetable

Course days generally start at 10..00am on the first day and 9.00am thereafter and finish at between 5.30 - 6.00pm however specific course will be confirmed prior to each course

Examination dates

Examination dates are usually held on the Monday at the end of the last module, however this is not guaranteed and is subject to ITEC confirmation six weeks prior to examination date.
