.
Principal Tutor: Gail Lowe has been practicing for twenty years. She studied holistic massage Anatomy and Physiology initially with Professor Arnold Taylor (ITEC founder) at Imperial College, London, then Remedial Massage with the Northern Institute in Blackpool and combines her vast nursing and therapeutic experience to successfully treat many thousands of patients. Students benefit from her thorough massage technique, her wealth of experience and personal tuition on this course.
Holistic Massage is one of the oldest healing arts, treating the mind, body and spirit. An ancient art dating back to Chinese dynasties, when placed in the hands of a well qualified therapist with a thorough understanding of Anatomy and Physiology can treat many physical and emotional conditions.
An ITEC Diploma may lead to a career working within the health, sports and leisure industry at clubs and spas, doctor's surgeries or even hospitals at home or abroad.
Classes are small so enrol early to avoid disappointment!
It is an ITEC requirement that students hold a recognized Anatomy and Physiology diploma; therefore all students without this qualification must take all three parts of the course and prepare to devote 5 hours per week minimum to home learning.
If you already hold an ITEC A & P certificate or an acceptable equivalent, (please confirm this with ITEC direct prior to enrolment) then you will study the first two parts of the course at a reduced course fee. Certificates must be produced on enrolment along with ITEC APL confirmation.
The course is divided into three parts:
