Stone Therapy is a delightful treatment to give as well as to receive. The effectiveness of the stones in your treatment alleviates the strain on the therapists hands and wrists but increases the benefit of the treatment ten fold.

Our course is held over three days in one module. During this module we will teach you all aspects of the practical stone massage technique to prepare you to competently pass your mock exam and complete your case studies. You will be given the theory notes of the course as soon as you confirm your enrolment and will learn the theory of stone therapy prior to attending the course, where a revision programme will help you to pass your theory mock examination. Finally you will send in your completed case studies for marking one month prior to the exam.

- Stone relationship to the auric field
- Holistic Approach and Integral Biology
- Physiological and Psychological effects
- Consent and Consultation methods
- Contraindications and referral procedures
Practical
- Full body treatment
- Stone types: basalt, marble, crystals, etc
- Selection and correct placement of stones
- Care of stones and equipment
- Hygiene procedures
- Home care advice
Case Studies: Three People ( x three times = 9 treatments)
Examinations
- 30 minute - Theory paper 25 multiple choice questions
- 3/4 hour Practical examination
- Examination fee £90 due on Module One

What to bring:
- 2 Towels (big bath sheets)
- 1 small towel for drying stones
- 3 pillow cases
- Antiseptic wipes (tea tree or Lavender)
- Antibacterial hand gel
- 2 folders for course work and case studies
- Loose comfortable clothing for theory
- White or black uniform tunic for practical (students without uniforms will not be ablr to join practical sessions)
